Clothing Donations
The Clothesline accepts donations of new or like-new clothing, bedding, hygiene products, tents, and suitcases/backpacks to be distributed to the community.
Please only donate clothing that is clean and in good condition. If you have clothing to donate that is not ready-to-wear, find your closest Goodwill donation site here.
Please call ahead if you have more than one car load to donate (206-932-9023) and bag your donations in garbage/plastic bags that can be tied closed. This helps us keep them clean and dry. Thank you!
No appointment is necessary to drop off donations. Please note that any donations left outside these hours or overnight are unusable and will need to be disposed of.
Bring donations to the Clothesline at 5444 Delridge Way SW Ste. 100 Seattle, WA 98106 (click to open map)***. We accept donations any time during open hours, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10am – 1pm.
***If you are unable to donate during these hours, we can also accept clothing at the West Seattle Food Bank (3419 SW Morgan St. Seattle, WA 98126) on Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm and until 7pm on Wednesday. We encourage you to drop it off at the Clothesline itself if possible.
The items the Clothesline has the greatest need for are:
- Men’s clothing, especially jeans and hoodies
- Work boots
- Kid’s clothes – sizes 8 and up
- Coats
- Backpacks, duffel bags, suitcases with wheels
- New underwear
- New toiletries
- Towels
- Blankets and sheets
Please note: Due to limited space, The Clothesline is not able to accept housewares or furniture.
We are grateful for the community’s generosity and focus our capacity on clothing, shoes, accessories and toiletries for our neighbors.
